Often it happens that alumni, after becoming established in their own careers, are looking for ways to give back. It is particularly helpful to new students to talk to alumni about their experiences finding internships, networking, interviewing well, and learning about different types of jobs. There are a number of ways alumni can get involved, and below are just a few.
Be A Student Mentor
Meet with a student to discuss interviewing, strategies for job hunting, useful tips for getting through the program, types of jobs in the finance industry, or anything else that may be useful to the student.
Host a Seminar
Bring your knowledge to one of our classrooms and engage with all our students at the same time.
Conduct Interviews
Help our students hone their interview skills by volunteering to conduct practice sessions.
Create Opportunities
From to full or part time internships to starting a post-graduate full time career, our students are ready to take the next step. What need does your company have that our students can meet?
Be a Project Mentor
Our students do not stop learning over the summer. They welcome the opportunity to tackle relevant and challenging projects, under the guidance of alums who take on the role of project mentor.
Collaborate in Research
Our faculty are involved in wide range of research topics, from Financial Engineering to Computational Finance to Scientific Computing.
