Shubham is a current graduate student of the Master of Financial Mathematics program at NC State University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). Prior to joining the program, Shubham accumulated over three years of experience in the financial services sector, working across policy underwriting and retail banking. With growing proficiency in Python and Excel-based financial modeling, he is focused on transitioning into the quantitative risk domain, where he hopes to apply his analytical skills to complex financial challenges. Mr. Balodi’s key areas of interest include market and credit risk, and he aspires to build a career as a quantitative risk analyst within the global financial industry.
