Bio
Paras completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, in 2020. He then worked as a Financial Market Analyst at Futures First, a proprietary trading firm, where he managed an individual account and conducted technical and macroeconomic research to implement discretionary trading strategies. He also developed and implemented a pricing model for short-term interest rate futures in the Australian market. Paras is proficient in Python, which he used to prototype an algorithmic trading venture, and is skilled in C++ and SQL. After graduation, he aspires to pursue a career as a Quantitative Researcher, Analyst, or Trader.
