Bio

Anas earned his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Finance, with a minor in Politics and Public Policy, and has successfully passed two levels of the CFA Program. With a strong academic foundation and a deep interest in quantitative finance, Anas is driven to explore advanced topics in financial mathematics, particularly in derivatives pricing, systematic trading strategies, and risk modeling. Prior to undertaking NCSU’s MFM, Anas was part of the Chief investment Office at UBS in Zurich, where he developed quantitative tools to support equity, credit, and FX market analysis leveraging a mix of Python Libraries and Macro Research. He also completed rotations in UBS offices across Dubai and Qatar where he contributed to the development of investment proposals, supported advisory teams managing over $1 billion in assets, and maintained structured product dashboards for tactical and strategic allocation. His academic focus and hands-on experience reflect a clear commitment to integrating mathematical models with real-world financial decision-making.
