Daniel Yang completed his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University through the Integrated Science Program, with additional majors in Chemistry, Biology, and Economics. During this time, he conducted in-depth research in organic chemistry, gaining hands-on experience with analytical techniques and the underlying mathematical principles behind scientific inquiry. Additionally, with his training in econometrics, Dan has developed proficiency in statistical modeling and signal-processing methods in Python. Recently, he applied his quantitative skills to a full-stack startup development that leverages machine learning pipelines. At NCSU, Dan aspires to gain a deeper expertise in the mathematics behind finance, acquiring the tools necessary to pursue a career in quantitative trading and machine learning.
