Andrew Lys holds a bachelors of science in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Chicago. During his undergraduate career, he explored statistical and computational learning theory at Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago and machine learning theory applications in econometrics. He has proficiency in Python and C/C++ and is interested in applying his theoretical background to problems in financial mathematics at NCSU.
