Bio

Fauzaan Shareef earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Nottingham. Driven by a passion for quantitative finance, he focused his undergraduate dissertation on forecasting cryptocurrency prices using machine learning. Professionally, Fauzaan has worked as an Assistant Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer, developing predictive churn models, building recommendation systems, and architecting cloud data pipelines for public and private enterprises. At NC State, Fauzaan seeks to leverage advanced financial mathematics to bridge the gap between machine learning and quantitative research.
