Bio
Harvey Hsu earned his B.A. in Economics from National Taipei University, where he built a strong foundation in economics, mathematics, and finance. Driven by a curiosity about how financial markets work, he developed a particular interest in quantitative investing, derivatives, and risk management. During his undergraduate studies, Harvey gained practical experience through a trading room internship at Bank SinoPac, where he supported the Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange (FX) trading desks through market analysis, and as a research assistant, where he developed option-implied volatility measures. Harvey enjoys combining financial theory with data-driven analysis to better understand financial markets and address practical investment problems. His long-term goal is to pursue a quantitative career in finance, particularly in quantitative research or trading.
