Jaydon Hirschfield earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Florida. Before attending NC State University’s Master of Financial Mathematics program, he worked as a tax accountant at PwC, analyzing financial statements and assessing relevant tax implications for clients. He possesses a strong quantitative background, having taken extensive coursework in economics, mathematics, and accounting as well as earning certificates in Python and C++. When he is not studying, Jaydon applies his analytical mindset to testing chess strategies and engaging in competitive sports. He views chess as a canvas for stochastic risk modeling, while athletics build the cognitive endurance and split-second decision-making necessary for high-stakes quantitative environments. With a passion for machine learning, econometrics, and data-driven decision-making, Jaydon is excited to delve deep into quantitative modeling frameworks and their applications in quantitative finance.
