Bio

Joshua Sanchez holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Business from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. During his undergraduate studies, he gained important exposure to risk modeling and the insurance industry through his internship at the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association. He completed his undergraduate thesis on improving Elo Rating Systems, applying mathematical modeling concepts to practical situations. Joshua is now focused on further integrating mathematical concepts and risk modeling by completing a Master’s in Financial Mathematics while pursuing a career in Quantitative Analysis.
