Bio

Megan is a graduate student in the Master of Financial Mathematics program at NC State University where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. There she developed a strong foundation in mathematical theory, statistics, and data analysis through coursework and projects involving statistical regression and mathematical modeling. Megan is particularly interested in mathematical modeling and looks forward to exploring its applications in finance, specifically understanding and managing financial risk. She is proficient in R, SAS, and Python, and is eager to expand her mathematical knowledge and develop her programming skills. Megan is interested in pursuing a career focused on risk management or financial analysis, where she can further apply her mathematical knowledge.
