Yikun Song holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Certificate in Statistics from Fudan University. She has built a rigorous mathematical and statistical foundation that drives her ambition in quantitative finance. Her interests focus on machine learning methods in quantitative research, derivatives pricing, and portfolio optimization. Throughout her internship experience, she applied advanced mathematical modeling to solve intricate financial problems and engineered factor-mining workflows using cutting-edge models to extract market alpha. By pursuing the Master of Financial Mathematics program at NC State, she seeks to refine her expertise, aspiring to become a comprehensive quantitative researcher.
